Safe drum handling in ATEX areas

Safe drum handling with our drum lifter Secu Ex

In areas where work is carried out with explosive substances, all work equipment must be adapted to the environment. For drum handling in Ex zones, DENIOS has developed drum lifters which meet these requirements. They include a wide range of safety features, such as a separate lifting and lowering process or good maneuverability. Three possible chassis types (narrow, wide and splayed), two overall heights and three drum tools make the Secu Ex a premium tool for almost any handling application and all common drum types. The gripper head is also equipped with integrated equipotential bonding, ensuring explosion protection "down to the smallest detail".

What are the advantages of the Secu drum lifter range?

"Secu" designates our new product range for drum handling, which was developed with ergonomics in mind. For example, the drum lifter is operated by a foot pedal, as this is easier on the back than operating it by hand. Lowering the drum can also be initiated smoothly by a separate pedal. The drum lifters are easy to manoeuvre thanks to fully movable edges and are available in three different chassis versions.

In this way, employees are protected, and incapacity to work due to back complaints is prevented. You can find more information about our Secu line and ergonomic drum handling in our free guide.
