Heating Jackets

Some substances that are used in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries need to be stored under certain thermal conditions, and drum heaters and heating jackets have been developed specifically for this purpose. DENIOS UK has a range of heating jackets and belts that are designed to suit the individual requirements of different production processes and materials.

Uses of heating jackets

Insulated heating jackets and heating belts are designed to be used for temperature maintenance and the heating up and frost protection of metallic and plastic drums that contain substances such as oils, animal and vegetable fat, chemicals, tar, bitumen and foodstuffs. Heating jackets and heating belts for drums and intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) can be used with containers, either when static or when being moved, and they can fit sizes from 25 to 1,000 litres. Made of either silicone or steel, they are also suitable for use in areas that are at risk from explosion. Ideal to heat up a single drum or IBC, heating jackets as well as drum heaters are excellent when the heating process is occasional or seasonal, and when flexibility is required in the production process.

Product range

The DENIOS UK range of heating jackets include IBC Heating Jackets with an insulating hood, which incorporates a silicon-insulated heating coil, a thermostat with a control range of 0 to 90 degrees C, and is in a heavy-duty, water-repellent, coated polyamide; a Heating Jacket for gas cylinders, which is made from heavy-duty, coated nylon fabric and is suitable for maintaining or heating a constant temperature; and a Steel Drum Heating Belt for 205-litre drums, which is ideal for keeping substances such as glue, paint or oil at a temperature needed for further processing.
