The lithium-ion battery transport box XL
First-class fire protection. Easy to use. Safe to transport.
Our newly developed lithium-ion battery transport box XL takes safety and handling to a whole new level. In the reader vote for the GIT SICHERHEIT AWARD 2025, our lithium battery transport box XL took first place in the ‘Fire Protection’ category.
In addition to advanced fire protection, the box offers considerable handling advantages:
- The absence of additional filling materials speeds up packaging.
- The optimised design allows safe loading from a forklift truck.
- An innovative securing system replaces conventional lashing straps
TÜV-approved quarantine container
For quarantining defective electric vehicles or lithium-ion batteries.
According to insurance provider Allianz, crash tests have shown that the risk of explosion and fire in electric vehicles after an accident is no higher than in combustion engines. However, electric car fires are much more difficult to control. Only intensive cooling with large amounts of water can stop thermal runaway. However, it is not possible to determine with the naked eye whether thermal runaway has actually been stopped. The battery can (self-)ignite again for up to 24 hours. The best solution is therefore to park the electric vehicle separately in a quarantine area with flooding capability, such as the mobile quarantine container QEV from DENIOS. This offers space for one electric vehicle (up to van size) and can be flooded as required. Its suitability has been confirmed by TÜV Süd.
