Separate areas for battery and technical room
Thanks to spatial separation, the battery storage remains optimally protected – from fires in the periphery and the associated risk of thermal runaway, while at the same time offering higher air conditioning efficiency.
Fire-resistant construction of the battery compartment
The battery compartment is insulated with special fire protection panels.
Air conditioning
An integrated air conditioning system ensures that the battery storage unit is always at the optimal operating temperature.
Detection technology
Modern sensors such as gas detectors and fire alarms enable timely alerts.
Spill pallets
The spill pallet manufactured in accordance with StaWaR prevents electrolytes or contaminated extinguishing water from entering the environment.
Technical ventilation
If the batteries start to emit gas, the technical ventilation system is automatically activated to prevent a dangerous concentration of gas from building up in the container.
Pressure relief
In the event of a gas leak or explosion of the battery storage unit, the pressure relief valve reduces the resulting excess pressure in a controlled manner. This ensures that the doors remain securely closed and emergency personnel are protected.
Semi-stationary extinguishing system with tray emptying
The fire brigade can use the external connection to the extinguishing system without having to open the doors – a significant safety advantage.

Optimisation of own consumption
The battery storage unit stores excess energy and makes it available when needed. This maximises self-consumption and minimises grid consumption.
Peak load capping
By storing and retrieving energy in a targeted manner, expensive peak loads can be avoided. This lowers grid fees and reduces operating costs.
Multi-Use
The capacity of the battery storage system is used flexibly to optimise self-consumption and cap peak loads. This is achieved either through time allocation or targeted capacity allocation.
Time-Of-Use
By taking variable electricity tariffs into account, the storage unit can be controlled in such a way that energy is purchased at favourable times and expensive grid electricity is avoided.
Charging station control
Various types of charging stations are already integrated. The charging power is dynamically adjusted to the available battery capacity and grid load to ensure optimal use of resources and reduce peak loads.
Setpoint specification & external control
Additional controls can be integrated via a Modbus interface. Applications such as energy marketing can be implemented in cooperation with partner EMS solutions.
