Handling Hazardous Materials Safely

For every industrial company, laboratory and craft business, hazardous material handling is always an area of major concern, as it is critical to avoid accidents in dealing with those substances. Regulators require compliance with laws and regulations that cover the handling of substances that can cause harm both to people and the environment.

DENIOS UK has manufactured items for the safe handling of hazardous materials for 26 years. We have developed a broad range of technical solutions and products for every type of drum handling task, including emptying, tipping, moving, lifting and turning, to keep both employees and the environment safe.

We have placed specific emphasis on systems that promote safe handling and usage, which provide high functionality for safe operations. As specialists in dealing with hazardous materials, DENIOS UK designs and manufactures efficient equipment for carefully working with those substances.

Drum handling equipment and accessories

In almost every industry, drums are used to store a great portion of hazardous materials. To ensure an efficient manufacturing process, effective drum handling equipment is required to safely transport drums to the workplace, and the manufacturing process might also require filling and dispensing processes. Since DENIOS UK are experts in hazardous material handling solutions, you can use our products with complete confidence.

Utilise our drum trolleys, dollies and transporters to easily lift and move all types of standing or horizontal drums that weigh up to 500 kg. We also have available a wide variety of drum pallet trucks, drum lifters, drum transport lifters, drum turners and drum grippers that are suitable for many uses, including mixing, turning and emptying drums and loading and removing drums from spill pallets.

Our drum handling products also include load lifting equipment for other lifting projects, including drum tongs for suspending drums on a crane truck, drum lifting grippers for steel drums weighing up to 500 kg, attachments for setting drums upright, and attachments that allow one person to transport standing or horizontal drums. We also have a range of attachments for forklifts that allow the user to transport and lift drums as well as turn and position drums on a shelf to store them more efficiently without having to manually position them.

To make it easier for you to handle your drums and make your work area secure, DENIOS UK also has a broad range of accessories, including earthing cables and grounding clips to secure your drum handling. We offer drum openers to facilitate your work by allowing you to open drums once they are in place. We also have many safety accessories available, including fill level indicators, drum wrenches, screw adaptors and safety vents.
