Klüber Lubrication Austria GmbH is a division of Freudenberg Chemical Specialities SE & Co. KG and develops or produces highly specialized lubricants for various applications. The high demands placed on high-performance lubricants from Klüber Lubrication are also reflected in the variety of industries that use Klüber lubricants: the automotive, wood and the food industry.
The challenge and task:
For a specialist and market leader such as Klüber Lubrication Austria, only cooperation with DENIOS was possible in the storage of operating materials, which is not least based on a long-standing partnership between the two companies.
The requirements for DENIOS were that a heat chamber should be installed, which pre-tempers the delivered aggregates for production, in order to be able to incorporate them in the next production step without delay. A new platform platform was planned as a site for this purpose, which is intended to ensure shorter transport distances and less risk to employees. The challenge was, on the one hand, the coordination with the steel construction company with regard to the installation points of the new heat chamber and, on the other hand, the precise delivery and assembly of the system, as this coincides with the construction of the new platform.
After an in-depth analysis of the requirements situation at and in cooperation with the customer, DENIOS developed and supplied a heat chamber of type WK 314-2. A 15kW-strong circulating air electric heating unit with a circulation capacity of 4,000 m./h ensures the desired temperature up to a maximum of 120 °C for melting the raw materials.
The constant media temperature of approx. 80°C is also ensured by the excellent insulation. The storage capacity is a maximum of six Euro pallets with up to twelve 200 litres of barrels, which can be stored on two levels at the same time.
The heat chamber is equipped with a double-winged rotary door and can be used. It can therefore also be loaded with a hand-held truck.
Result and customer benefits:
Klüber Lubrication Austria benefits on the one hand from better coordinated production steps and as a result from a shorter turnaround time. In addition, the heat chamber designed and supplied by DENIOS has optimum operating comfort and high energy efficiency, keeping running costs as low as possible at the same time. Last but not least, both employees and the environment benefit from the professional storage of the substances.
