In a very short space of time, DENIOS constructed a storage facility consisting of six individual fire rated storage containers. This way enabling efficient storage possibilities for different kinds of hazardous substances.

Challenge and task:

Constructing a central storage unit for hazardous substances on the university campus. Different kinds of hazardous materials, such as flammable liquids, water pollutants, AETZENDE and poisonous substances need to be stored together.

The unit needs to be moved to another location when the university moves.

DENIOS recommended a construction consisting of six linked containers. Fours of them are F90 fire rated containers for the storage of various kinds of hazardous materials, one is a F90 overtaking container and another container serves as passage to the university building.

Results and outcome:

All legal regulations and legislations regarding flammable liquids are obeyed. Moving the unit to another place at a later time is easily possible. Using F90 fire rated storage containers, this project  could be finalised in just two months.
