Challenge and task:
Construction of a DIBt approved system for the active and passive storage of flammable liquids of storage class 3.

The solutions:

DENIOS implemented a complete system consisting of four walk-in fire protection warehouses for the customer. The technical room systems are suitable for the active and passive storage of flammable liquids of storage class 3. All F 90 fire sections inside are equipped for Ex-Zone 1 or Ex-Zone 2.

Two fire compartments are used for passive storage. They are explosion-proof and the built-in heating ensures that they do not fall below + 10 ° C all year round.

Two additional fire sections are used for active storage. They are also explosion-proof. The built-in air conditioning system ensures a constant temperature level of + 10 ° C to + 25 ° C all year round. The interior equipment of the fire protection store was adapted to the respective requirements, as e.g. Shelves, worktables and ex-protected extractors in the active reservoirs.

All four entrances were fitted with T 90 doors with door locking system with separate approval from the DIBt Berlin. The outdoor area has been equipped with motion detectors for lighting. An additional roof over the entire system provides protection against precipitation.

After a short lead time, the customer received a turnkey large warehouse for hazardous substances, which met their needs exactly. The modular design ensured short delivery times and high profitability.
