Cleaning technology
For parts cleaning, many companies still use solvent based cold wash parts cleaners. It is well known that these are a great potential source of danger: Solvent vapours are a danger to health, a strain on the environment and are laden with potential for fire and explosion. Since August 2001, the European solvent regulations have redefined solvent usage in the workplace and companies now have to limit the amount of VOC emissions released into the atmosphere.
With bio.x, DENIOS provides a series of cleaning machines that use an innovative, convincing procedure - completely solvent free. They help to prevent VOC emissions, yet clean parts from the most varied materials in an environmentally-friendly and economical way.
The bio.x cleaning system is comprised of two innovative components: A firm, rust-free synthetic washstand and a biological cleaning fluid. The aqueous bio-cleaner contains tenside, which reliably removes processing oils, grit cooling agent, corrosion-protection agent, greases and particle impurities. Temporary corrosion-protection is guaranteed. Special microorganisms break down the deposited greases and oils biologically and thereby continuously clean the cleaning medium. This means that bath times of up to 4 times those of normal cold cleaners can be achieved. The washstand is equipped with a heater that keeps the temperature of the cleaning fluid at 41º C. On the one hand, this ensures optimum cleaning power and on the other it ensures ideal living conditions for the microorganisms contained within. The cleaning fluid is also comfortably warm.

The special design of the washstand minimises excessive evaporation of the aqueous cleaner. This also makes bio.x especially economical and environmentally friendly in use.
Operation of the bio.x cleaning table is uncomplicated: An innovative microcontrol mechanism with a membrane keypad controls everything necessary and provides perfect operational comfort. Additionally, its energy-saving mode and built-in timer ensure economical consumption. Up to over 50 percent energy can therefore be saved during idle times.
