1986 Helmut Dennig founded DENIOS as P&D Systemtechnik in Porta Westfalica, Germany in recognition of the need to supply products to store hazardous materials and to enhance environmental protection.
He began by developing and producing the first sump to store oil and a Hazmat storage container, products which were not widely recognised by Environment Officers in Germany.

Company moves its headquarters to Bad Oeyhausen.

First sales office opens in Stuttgart.

Expansion into North America with formation of P&D Systemtechnic Inc. in Louisville, Kentucky / USA.

Further subsidiaries established in Italy, France, Holland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Belgium and Great Britain.

P&D Systemtechnik GmbH renamed DENIOS.

Establishment of DENIOS AB in Sweden and a strategic alliance in Spain.

Formation of subsidiary in Switzerland.

Moving into a new administration building, increase of the production area including commissioning of a new
plastic rotation in Germany

Denios now has over 13 subsidiaries in Europe and one in the US and employs over 800 people.
DENIOS AG continues to expand to retain its competitive position in the hazardous materials storage industry. As the need for environmental protection becomes increasingly more critical, Denios' role in helping to achieve this grows with it.
