Bunded Spill Flooring

If hazardous liquids are being stored, then no drip or spray loss can occur during filling or decanting risking ground contamination. Even the smallest of spills can lead to a necessary decontamination of the affected area, which is usually very expensive. Bunded spill flooring from DENIOS can help prevent this from happening and allow whole rooms or portions of rooms to be transformed into approved storage areas. DENIOS manufacturers bunded spill flooring from steel for the storage of flammable liquids and substances in all water pollution classes. Steel bunded spill flooring complies with all requirements of Environment Agency, Pollution Prevention Guideline PPG 26. The sumps are manufactured from galvanized steel and feature a removable hot-dip galvanized grid. Each sump can also be manufactured from stainless steel. DENIOS bunded spill flooring manufactured from polyethylene is suitable when a high resistance is required against acids, alkalis and oil whilst filling and decanting, this product is distinctive due to its low design. By combining bunded spill flooring elements, large floor areas can be sealed without any problems. A plastic floor element consists of a polyethylene (PE) double-walled sump and is available with either a galvanized or PE grid. If you want to fit individual rooms so that they meet the requirements as specified by the German WHG and LöRüRL (Fire Fighting Water Containment Directive), then DENIOS has developed a range of room linings which can be customised to any individual in-plant requirement. DENIOS room linings can be transported either by pallet truck, by forklift or by lorry. DENIOS room linings are easy to install and are delivered almost entirely prefabricated and can also be manufactured from stainless steel. Optional retractable partitions allow for the retention of fire fighting water.
