spill trays - the basics

Plastic, steel or stainless steel: Our "Facts about spill trays" Q&A links below will tell you which sump is the right one for your needs.

What kind of substances will be stored on the spill trays?

The kind of material you wish to store will determine whether you need a plastic or a steel spill trays.

Galvanized or painted steel spill trays are used to store water-polluting or flammable substances such
as oil or paint.

How large should the sump pallet be?

"The required sump pallet capacity must conform to regulations: the sump pallet must be able to hold 110%
of the largest container stored or 25% of the total volume stored, whichever is the greater. As long as the storage conditions used in areas, where water needs to be protected, are regulation compliant, the whole of the quantity stored will be retained within the sump pallet."

All DENIOS sump pallets are available in different sizes tailored to your company's specific needs whilst also complying with regulations regarding sump capacity. Our steel or plastic sump pallets can be used to store drums or containers and also available in mobile versions or as floor decking.
