Seveso III Directive To Be Enacted 1st June 2015

Changes to The Seveso Directive come into force on 1 June 2015. Are you prepared against the risks with chemicals and hazardous materials?

The Seveso Directive (currently The Seveso II Directive) is the main piece of EU legislation that deals specifically with the control of on-shore major accident hazards (COMAH) involving dangerous substances. On 1 June 2015 The Seveso II Directive will be replaced by the Seveso III Directive and in order to implement the new Directive, the COMAH Regulations 1999 will be replaced by the COMAH Regulations 2015. The implementation of this new directive places responsibility for ensuring compliance firmly in the hands of the Site operator. This is why it is so important to have taken all the necessary steps prior to June 15th.
